A Wedding!

Soooo.......... how does one begin after a very long absence? I've neglected and avoided my blog for such a long time and now I feel like I've suddenly bumped into it at the market or something. What do I say? What do I do? Do I quickly head off to another aisle and pretend I didn't see my blog? NO! Too late! It saw me! I have to go say hello. Of course there will be greetings, expressions of regret, polite small talk, and awkward pauses. What else can you expect when you run into someone unexpectedly?! Now I just hope I have a cute outfit on and that my makeup looks all right.
I can't possibly catch up with all that I have missed in the last few months that I will just begin like I've been here all along.
I have some wonderful news. Jacob Montano, my nephew was just married in Salt Lake Temple. It was such a happy day. It is always such an amazing feeling to be in the temple with all of your family and watch a couple be sealed to each other for Time and All Eternity. Jacob and Mishelle Montano looked very happy and very sweet together.
I came out of the temple feeling so grateful to be a part of this gospel. I felt grateful for the family the I had come from and very grateful for my own dear family that I have now. The temple is a beautiful place. It looks beautiful on the inside and out but what I love best is the spirit that I feel there. I always feel so close to my Beloved Savior there and I always leave with a stronger desire to strive to be more like Him.
Thank you so much Jacob and Mishelle for letting us be a part of your happy day. We are so proud of you! Congratulations!

Friday Favorites!

Aren't Fridays the best? I love Fridays. They really are the best day of the week in my opinion. Thursdays are a close runner up thanks to NBC but Fridays are still my favorite. They have the routine and order of the the weekday but the fun and relaxed feeling of the weekend. Really it's the best of both worlds. On Friday nights I'm always hoping my husband will get home just a little bit early and that the family can trip off for some delicious food and maybe pick up a movie. It might not sound that fun but compared to school nights it's pretty dang exciting. On some Fridays none of this may happen but it's always what I'm hoping for and longing for all through the less desirable days of the week. And so it seems very appropriate to list a few of my favorite things of late on my favoritest day ever-Friday!
I love this ice cream! It's sweet, chocolaty, crunchy, and it's Light!

This show is pretty funny. I've seen a couple episodes and they've had me laughing out loud at several parts. Last night's was my favorite episode so far.

Leslie was so nice and gave this soundtrack to me for my birthday. She knew I loved the movie and the music in it. It really is a great CD. My kids favorite song is #17. It's the Ruthie Pig Face Draper song that is in the movie.

There's no time girls!

I have always loved the story of Heidi's summer career in the Catering Business. She worked for the very talented but seriously chaotic English women named Beryle. Whenever Heidi and her fellow colleagues would try to take a minute to clean up this chaos, Beryle would frantically call out in her lovely British voice-"There's no time girls!"
And so I must say to my Blogging Colleagues-"There's no time Girls!" I am writing this very short post as we speak with Little Davy strapped in front of me in his baby carrier. His little baby head manages to block my sight of the keyboard and half the keys are missing from the keyboard thanks to Jacob's chubby nimble fingers but with all that I still have not given up hope for some meager communication with everyone. So hello everyone. I would love to stay and visit but I really must go because it's Sunday night and that means that tomorrow is Monday Morning which most emphatically means lot's of work and really ...."There's no time girls!"

Here I am!

Okay, I know, I know it's been a very long time since I last posted anything. I really don't have any great excuse either. Sometimes it seemed like there was so much going on that I simply I didn't have any time to write for this blog. Other times it felt like nothing had been going on so I simply had nothing to write about. But for whatever the reason here I am again.

Here are just a few things are group has been up to the last couple of months in a very condensded format.
-Feb 1-Adam's Superbowl Trip

-Feb 8-California Vacation

-Feb11-Little Adam's Birthday

-Feb 14- My sister Laurie's Valentine Wedding

-March 5- Seattle Trip for Adam and I

-March 26- Annaliese got braces

-March 30- My sister Heidi had her Baby Girl

-April 12- Easter Holiday

-This week-Spring Break

-Right now-Still awaiting Summer Vacation and #5 this July

So I should have lots of pictures to add to this post but I cannot find the all important piece of equipment that let's you transfer pictures from camera to computer. (Another reason I have not blogged recently.) So I am just going to put a few pictures of Easters past till I can either 1. find that annoying camera cord or 2.(the more likely alternative) buy another one. Who knows how long it will take me to post again!
